    Food is just middle of the road. The atmosphere is ok. The staff is friendly. What makes this place stand out is Anthony! He works in the kitchen. He is 30 years old has two young children with a baby momma. His favorite pastime is hanging out with young teenage girls. Be sure to have your daughter 15 and under stop in the kitchen to say Hi. He will love that! He is the Best! He will be sure to show them a good time!

    Argyles is an excellent restaurant. The service is excellent and the food is superb. Having been to the OBX for over 35 years I had driven past Argyles many times and not stopped in. When I did I quickly found what I had been missing.

    Our server was extremely polite, and willing to accommodate my wife's food allergies and gluten intolerance. The food was literally the most bland tasting meal we have ever had. My wife got some "special" shrimp and crab daniel dinner and I got the flat iron steak for the 2 for $40. The website menu was what brought us in but what a dud. There was nothing good about our meal. Then we get the bill and they automatically added a tip to it for a party of 3. Luckily I caught it and removed it so they didnt double dip us for a tip on top of an already added gratuity. We just couldn't tell Karen how bad it was so we just wanted to leave. This place has Gordon Ramsey "Kitchen Nightmares" written all over it!!

    Unique spot. Has been around for 30+ years, run by a couple and a few helpers. They’re every accommodating, can be a bit slower paced, food is decent and it’s an eclectic spot. Say hi to PJ if you stop in!

    Brunch was good, waited for a few, but worth it. Cute family run place. French toast was very good. Both styles!!
